You can now borrow data from Glo Nigeria without much problem. IN short, borrowing data from Glo is really simple. All you need to do, is to simply dial *321# on your glo line and select from the available options, please take note these are the Glo Data Loan available below:

  • 30MB
  • 60MB
  • 200MB
  • 1.6GB
  • 3.2GB

Please take note that the glo data borrowing service is called “Glo Borrow Me Data” and the amount of data you can borrow, totally depends on your Glo simcard recharge amount. This is to say, If your Monthly recharge is up to ₦1,000, you can now borrow up to 1GB from Glo.

HOW TO BORROW DATA FROM MTN NIGERIA

To borrow data on MTN Nigeria, simply dial *606#. Take note that on MTN Nigeria, the *606# can also serve as a USSD to borrow airtime. Take note that there are some eligibility and qualification process you need to pass, before your request to borrow Data from MTN will be approved.

I have gone through the official Airtel Nigeria page, and I have come to discover that Airtel is not providing this service. You certainly can’t borrow Data from Airtel Nigeria. Although Airtel is one of the biggest telecommunication services in Nigeria, not giving their customers the opportunity to borrow data is naive. But we’re still waiting for Airtel Nigeria to create this service.

We hope they provide this service very soon.

Previously known as Etisalat, 9Mobile is now open for subscribers to borrow Credit from, as long as you are qualified and eligible. The service to borrow data from 9Mobile is called “Easy Credit”. The Easy Credit is a service which allows users to borrow airtime from 9Mobile. With the 9Mobile easy credit, you can  make calls, purchase data plans or send messages, just like Airtel, 9Mobile hasn’t introduced its data borrowing service yet.

However, the difference between Airtel and 9Mobile is that with 9Mobile, you can use the borrowed credit to buy any airtel data plan of your choice.If you borrowed ₦200, you can use it to subscribe to a data bundle.
