Please take note that the Infinix Hot Note X551 is somewhat large in size. If you are among those who are into smartphones size, then you’ll surely love this device.
However, not minding the weight, the smartphone is light to carry around and even lighter in your hands.
The smartphone was produced with a svelte profile. A Svelte profile is a factor that makes the device comfortably slide into your palms despite the fact that it is big.
At the back, the Infinix Hot Note X551 has a super slim removable back cover and When removed, you will discover two Micro SIM slots and a MicroSD card slot.
However, the Infinix Hot Note came with a non-removable battery.

When smartphones became popular, one huge disadvantages it came with, is the brightest of it’s screen. The display of the infinix Hot Note x551 is extremely bright and can be irritating to the eye especially in the dark.
However, the Infinix Hot Note came with a light sensor and gives you the ample opportunity to just select the Automatic brightness option and the prevailing lighting conditions will determine the brightness level.
Even if you are under direct sunlight, you will still be able to see everything in the screen, since the phone features a great impressive viewing angles.

The only disadvantage am seeing here in this performance report is the 1GB ram. Although am not surprised at the 1GB Ram, if you consider the price of this device. However, if you are using this device, you will discover that lag is non-existent and the transition from one menu to the next is a very fast.
It also came with 1.3 GHz cores which powers the Infinix Hot Note, and this is the secret behind its faster performance.
The Infinix Hot Note came with an already installed Android 4.4 (KitKat). The Operating System of the Hot note X551 is almost filled with Android, except just a limited number of Blotware Apps and Services.
The smartphone comes with a number of Applications pre-installed on it, and these software includes;
- WhatsApp,
- Swiftkey.
Unlike other phones, you will be given the option to uninstall all the pre-installed Apps at your pleasure and anytime of the day. You don’t need to hard reset your infinix phone to remove any pre-installed apps.
Coming to Internal memory review, we discovered that the Hot Note features a 16GB internal memory, and out of the 16GB internal memory, more than 10GB which is available to you to store anything you want.
This smartphone also comes with a Micro SD Slot that can to support up to 32GB of memory.

The Infinix Hot Note came with a 8MP camera in the back and 2MP camera at the front for selfies and Skype chat. If you are into phones, you discover something very saddening, most cheap and affordable phones do have spectacular specs, but in real life, they’re nothing comparable.
However, ALL Infinix phones came as promised, with the specs and designs.
The back camera captures images at a 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and the results are stunning.

The images aren’t as clear as those which is snapped with the Back Camera, however, they are good enough to earn you lots Likes on Facebook, Retweets on Twitter and Loves on Instagram.
Music and Video Playback
The music and videos are okay. The very first thing you need to do, is to stop comparing this smartphone with other costlier phones. Looking at the Hot Note smartphone from infinix, i personally think the Music and Video playback on the Infinix Hot Note X551 is pretty good.
However, what Ii find very disappointed is the earphones.
The Recorded videos are disappointing as they lack the clarity that other upgraded smartphones features.
Looking at the positive side, the Infinix Hot Note plays 1080p and 720p videos effortlessly with no stutters whatsoever.
Battery Life

For an affordable smartphone, i think the 4000 mAh battery of the Infinix Hot Note is extra okay. Since this device is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, you can game, stream videos online, Watch videos, etc.
When fully charged, the Hot Note X551 gives you 21H talk time, 8H video, 40H music, 6.3H browsing.
Also, just like other samsung phones, the X551 features an in-built Power Saving Mode and an ultra-lower Power Mode, which helps saves your Infinix Hot Note battery from draining during the night time while you sleep, etc.
The Ultra Lower power mode works at closing almost all apps which are basically doing nothing in the background of your phone and draining the battery life.

Well, if you searching for a Premium smartphone for a budgeted price, this is your smartphone. I’ll advice you to go for this smartphone, and you will surely never regret it.
