The Infinix Note 8 is announced, and unlike the Infinix Hot 10 that different variants were launched in different countries, the Note 8 is coming with attractive features and specs for the global market.

This device (Infinix Note 8) was launched at a virtual event by Infinix Mobility, the company that creates Infinix. The Infinix Note 8 was not the sole device launched today, also launched alongside the Infinix Note 8, is the Infinix Note 8i. The Note 8 measures 175.3×78.76×8.95mm.

The very first thing I noticed about this device, that is, the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i is that they both have three distinct color options to choose from. The Infinix Note 8 sports a 6.95-inch display, while the Infinix Note 8i features a 6.78-inch screen display.

The difference between both models is recommendable, as the Infinix Note 8 differs from Note 8i in the display section, processor, cameras, battery capacity, and even memory.

Another difference worth mentioning here is that the Note 8 is available in a single 6GB RAM with 128GB storage built-in, while the Note 8i comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB / 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. However, the Note 8 memory can be expanded up to 2TB, while the Note 8i model can only be expanded to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Interestingly, both models come with quad rear cameras and are powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The similarity is uncanny when it comes to physical appearance, both the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i also features the same hole-punch display, while the only difference is that the Note 8 features a dual selfie camera on the front. For an enhanced audio experience, the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i come with DTS Audio processing.

However, the Infinix Note 8 does up the Note 8i by coming with dual speakers to deliver stereo audio. Before diving further into the review, here’s a quick rundown of this device’s specs and features.
