Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Review, Price and Release Date

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with its own built-in S Pen, an amazing brighter display, great camera upgrades, and these are all packaged in a sleek design. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a 2022 Machine.

We can’t deny the fact that Samsung knows how to design a flagship device for power users, as it adds the Galaxy Note’s best feature while also offering a ton of other upgrades, including camera and sleekness. Aside from the fact that this device comes with a built-in S Pen, there are various features added to this device as Samsung tries to top the list of best smartphones in the world.

Before going for the full review, let’s start with the S Pen. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra S Pen is more responsive, as Samsung made it 70% faster with less connection issues. This device display is way brighter and more colorful than any smartphone in the market, and yes, it comes with 45W charging, faster than its predecessor.

However, where I considered Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s biggest upgrade, is its cameras. No doubt, the giant phone makers are aiming to beat the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Google Pixel 6 Pro as the best camera phone in the market, through various upgrades.

These Camera upgrades include:

• A bigger main sensor for better low-light photos,
• AI-boosted portrait mode and a new Super Clear lens.

But you should know that this Camera upgrade comes with a cost, which means this phone price is higher than the S21 Ultra. To get the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, you need to drop $1,199, and this is for a device that comes with less RAM than before, and the S22 Ultra costs $100 to $300 more than its main competitors. (which are iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, etc)

Various YouTubers have agreed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the best Android phone in the world.

• Best phone display: Big tech websites have agreed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s AMOLED panel is not only brighter than any smartphone currently in the market but is also the best for outdoor viewing, it delivers better color saturation.
• Better S Pen: Samsung did the unbelievable by reducing the S Pen latency by 70%, writing and drawing on the Galaxy S22 Ultra feels so smooth, that you can hardly tell the difference between using a pen and paper. Less I forget, it has a holster built-in.
• Better Photos (especially in low light): Ever thought of taking the perfect photo but there is little brightness? Thanks to a bigger main sensor built-in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which helps in delivering brighter pictures than the S21 Ultra, and the Night Mode works even better than the iPhone 13 Pro Max in some cases. • Longer Support (Upgrades): Usually, Samsung flagship devices have 3 years of maximum upgrades, but with the S22 Ultra, Samsung is promising five years of update support and four years of major OS updates, so this flagship should be able to last you a long time.
• Battery Life: When tested, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra lasted 10 hours max when used to browse online. Although when the iPhone 13 Pro was put through the same test, it keep going for over 12 hours.
• Sleek and Durable Design: Samsung is known for having sleek designs. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is protected by an armor aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ back and is surprisingly lighter than the iPhone 13 Pro Max without a lame notch. Although a few people won’t like the curved front.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Release Date and price

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is available for pre-order now and its release date has been set to be on the 25th of February.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra starting price is $1,199. It costs $1,299 to go up to 256GB, $1,399 for 512GB and $1,599 for 1TB smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra edged out the s22 Ultra when it comes to beginner’s RAM. As the galaxy s22 Ultra entry-level comes with just 8GB RAM, unlike Galaxy S21 Ultra, which came with 12GB  for starters.

However, if you opt for more than 128GB of storage, you’ll get 12GB of RAM on this year’s Ultra.
